Permalink Bren Charge

Ingredients

8-9 ounces light lager or pale ale, chilled
1 shot (1½ ounces) Brendelicious Raspberry Liqueur

Directions

  • Pour beer into chilled goblet, allowing at least an inch and a half from the surface to the rim of the goblet.
  • Pour the liqueur into a standard shot glass.
  • Pick up shot glass, suspend just over the surface of the beer, and drop the glass gently into the goblet. Note: there should be foaming as long as your beer is active. Have a towel handy in case of overflow.
  • Quickly pick up goblet and chug contents.

Makes one Bren Charge.

(To toast with a Bren Charge, make your toast with the shot before dropping it into the beer.)

I had two of these last night and got plastered. What a effin' lightweight.

I've got to have some of this fabled liqueur. I wonder if one can substitute Guinness for the beer?

I guess you could substitute Guinness, but it would have more of a mocha taste to it, so you might want to put in some chocolate liqueur with the raspberry.

The density would be kind of wrong, too.

I think.

I better try it tonight, just in case.
