Permalink Summery Good Cinnamon Pear Frozen Yogurt

This recipe come from Kaitlin. Yay, Kaitlin!

It requires an ice cream maker. If you don't have one, quick run
out and buy one! So worth it!

Ingredients

1 (15 oz) can of pear halves
2 cups vanilla yogurt (the thick custard ones are the yummiest)
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice

Directions

  1. Drain pears, reserving 1/2 cup of juice.
  2. Puree pears in food processor or blender.
  3. Combine pears, reserved juice, yogurt, sugar, cinnamon and allspice in canister of ice cream maker.
  4. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

Makes 1 qt. 8 servings or 4 really big servings.
